ARTIST STATEMENT:

I create art as a way to step outside the weight of everyday life and offer viewers a moment of escape, a space to pause, forget, and simply admire. With the constant noise around us, we often overlook the value of simple happiness. My work is an attempt to bring that feeling back.

Using mixed media, I build abstract characters inspired by the personalities and energy of the people around me. Through color, form, and playful distortion, I try to capture their vibrance in a way that feels alive. My practice began with exploring how shapes can tell stories, and over time it has grown into creating worlds that blur reality combining painting, sculptural elements, and photography to give these imagined characters a place to exist. Focusing on how I can turn the vibrance I feel from the people around me to give views a moment of happiness.

Each series takes on a different form. Some merge photography with painted intervention; others lean into sculptural shapes. Even as the materials shift, the intention stays the same: to create a world where viewers can encounter a form, a shape, or a character without the noise of daily life just a moment of connection, curiosity, and escape.
